Welcome Bri Schoeneman — Clinical Intern at Freesia Therapy Collective

Some of you may already know Bri Schoeneman from her time as an administrative assistant here at Freesia Therapy Collective — and we are absolutely thrilled to welcome her back in a new role as our clinical intern! Having already been part of the Freesia community, Bri brings a familiarity with our values and a genuine investment in the work we do here that makes her transition into the therapy room a natural and exciting one. Bri's therapeutic philosophy is as thoughtful as it is grounding: she believes that human beings are layered, multifaceted, and sometimes contradictory — and that meaningful change often begins through the process of coming to know ourselves more fully. She approaches therapy as a relational space where patterns of connecting to yourself, others, and the world can be explored with curiosity, compassion, and safety.

Bri specializes in trauma and complex trauma, abuse recovery, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, attachment wounds, codependency, perinatal mental health, and life transitions — among many others. She draws from a rich toolkit of modalities including Relational Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Parts Work, somatic and mindfulness-based interventions, CBT, DBT-informed approaches, and Gestalt-informed experiential therapy. Her goal, in her own words, is simply to come alongside her clients as they navigate the unknown together — working toward greater healing, understanding, and meaning. We are so glad she is part of the Freesia family in this new way.
