Alison Brazil

Intake Coordinator
As an Intake Coordinator, I specialize in being a calm, welcoming first point of contact, helping clients feel supported and connected to the right care from the very beginning. Before joining Freesia Therapy Collective, my career was rooted in advocacy and service working with progressive nonprofit organizations who support diverse individuals and communities with care, clarity, and compassion.
I graduated from UMass Boston with a degree in Political Science and bring people-centered communication skills along with a deep commitment to equity and compassion in my work. Originally from Arkansas, I spent more than 20 years in the Boston area before (somewhat reluctantly) returning to my home state — blending big-city perspective with down-home Southern warmth.
I’m a full-fledged, no-shame crazy dog lady — the kind who will absolutely show you photos, remember your pet’s name, and get emotionally invested them. I’m also an avid cross-stitcher, happiest with several works in progress and at least one dog supervising. I believe a good walk with a leash in hand, sun on your face, and a sense of humor can do wonders for the soul.
At Freesia Therapy, my goal is to make the process of seeking support feel easier and more human, ensuring every person who reaches out feels welcomed, respected, and connected to the care they need.
